About Me
I am Kun Qian, a Ph.D. candidate in Statistics at Peking University. I develop statistical and machine learning methods to understand gene regulation and design functional DNA sequences. My current work focuses on AI for Science, genomic language models, regulatory sequence design, and epigenomics, alongside single-cell and spatial omics analysis.

- Developing genomic language models to learn regulatory information from DNA sequences

- Modeling gene regulation through chromatin accessibility and DNA methylation
- Integrating single-cell, spatial transcriptomic, and multimodal data to characterize cellular states and tissue organization
